Nice work Jessica you have some lovely words and language in your poem - very evocative and thought provoking.
ReplyDeleteThe shape and the pink shaded background are beautiful. I can see that you’ve worked hard on this.
Did you use clouds or a watercolour effect for your background?
Thank you! I love the descriptive words you used in your comment. I also used a background thats a watercolour theme.
DeleteKia ora Jessica, thanks for sharing your concrete poem. Great work that you placed the writing inside the shape of a flower. Your poem reminded me of my frost bitten nasturtium flowers that I found in my garden the morning after our first frost. I know there's apps online that let you create word art - like https://wordart.com/. This might be useful if you write another concrete/shape poem.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I appreciate your support, I will have a look at the site when I have the time. Thank you! :)
DeleteKia ora Jessica, I really liked your poem. It painted a picture for me about those flowers going to sleep for the night. I was wondering why it was called a concrete poem? I would like to teach that to my class. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I believe its called a concrete poem because its a poem that has a connection to a shape or a message behind it.
